Ask your PDF: AI answers from your document
The blupdf AI PDF assistant reads the document you have open and answers questions from it — 'What is the notice period?', 'List every deadline', 'Summarize section 4' — with references to the pages the answer came from. Because it lives inside the editor, an answer is one click away from becoming an edit.

Why blupdf
Grounded in the document
The model is instructed to answer only from the document's content and to say when the answer is not there.
Citations, not guesses
Every answer points to the pages it used, so checking takes seconds.
Read and edit in one place
No exporting text to a chat tool and back; the assistant works on the document you are editing.
Private by design
Document text is sent to the AI provider only for your question, is not used to train models, and is deleted with the document.
Frequently asked questions
Is the assistant a substitute for reading the contract?
No. It is a fast way to locate and summarize what a document says. Verify anything you will act on against the cited page; the assistant is not legal, financial or medical advice.
Does it work on scanned PDFs?
Yes. Scanned pages are recognized with OCR on upload, and the assistant reads the recognized text.
What does a question cost?
100 credits per question. Follow-ups are questions too. Nothing is charged for reading the answer or jumping to citations.
How long can the document be?
Up to your plan's page limit. Long documents are processed in sections and answers may cite several pages.
Can it change the document by itself?
No. The assistant only answers. Changes happen when you edit a block or run AI find & replace and apply the proposals you approve.
