Choose Canva when you want to turn a PDF into something new - a redesigned flyer, a re-branded one-pager, a slide - and you are happy for the result to use Canva's fonts and layout tools. Choose blupdf when the PDF must stay the PDF: a corrected date on a contract, a new address on a scanned letter, a renamed company across forty pages, all rendered in the original font so nothing looks edited. Canva cannot edit the text of a scan at all; blupdf recognises it and rebuilds the page as real, editable text.
