Drop a PDF, a scan or a photo. blupdf parses each page and, for image-only pages, runs AI OCR so every word becomes a block you can edit.

Paragraphs, headings, table cells and labels are separate blocks. A thin outline shows the one you selected.

Type your new text. The block keeps its font, size, color and alignment, and your text re-wraps inside the block's original box so neighbouring content stays put.

Frequently asked questions
Can I edit text in a PDF without changing the font?
Yes. When the font is embedded in the file — as it is in most PDFs exported from office and design tools — blupdf renders your new text with that exact font. If only a subset is embedded and a glyph is missing, blupdf substitutes the closest match from its library.
Does it work with scanned PDFs?
Yes. Scanned pages and photos are read with AI OCR first. blupdf estimates the font, size and color of each block from the image, so you can retype it like a digital PDF. Expect the closest-match font rather than the identical one, because the original font is not stored in a scan.
Will the layout shift when I add more words?
blupdf keeps the block's original box and re-wraps your text inside it, so other blocks do not move. A much longer sentence may need a slightly smaller font size to fit; the editor shows the result before you export.
Is my document private?
Your files are stored encrypted, processed only to perform the edits you request, never used to train AI models, and deleted 30 days after last access or immediately when you delete them.
What does editing text cost in credits?
