How it works

    Open one or more documents

    Start from any document on your dashboard. The page panel shows every page as a thumbnail.

  2. Step 2

    Drag pages to reorder

    Move single pages or a multi-selection. Deleting is one key; Undo restores until you export.

  3. Step 3

    Merge or split

    'Add pages' pulls in another document or a new upload. 'Split to new document' extracts the selected pages, optionally removing them from the original.

  4. Step 4

    Export

    Download the combined or extracted PDF. Page sizes and orientations are preserved as they were.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a page limit when merging?

The combined document must stay within your plan's page limit: 10 on Free, 50 on Starter, 200 on Pro, 1,000 on Business. blupdf tells you before a merge would exceed it.

What does merging or splitting cost?

10 credits per page moved between documents. Reordering and deleting inside one document are free. Pages arriving from a document that was never parsed are parsed on arrival, and export is 20 credits per page.

Can I merge scanned and digital PDFs?

Yes. Each page keeps its own type; scanned pages are OCR'd when they are first parsed and stay editable after the merge.

Does splitting delete the original?

Only if you tick 'Remove from original'. By default the original is left untouched and a new document is created.
