Some PDF forms have real fields; many are just a printed layout with blank lines. blupdf lets you fill PDF forms of both kinds: fields are detected and highlighted, and on flat forms you click where the answer belongs and type, with the text sized to the nearest label.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Upload the form

    Interactive forms show their fields tinted. Flat and scanned forms are parsed (and OCR'd if needed) so labels are readable.

  2. Step 2

    Click a field or any blank

    Fields take your input directly. On a flat form, clicking a blank creates a text block that sits on the line.

  3. Step 3

    Type, tick, date

    Tab between fields, toggle checkboxes, place check marks on flat forms, type dates as text.

  4. Step 4

    Export a flattened copy

    Choose to keep fields editable for the next person, or flatten so nothing can change. Flat forms always export as fixed content.
